- 200 g of butter
- 180 g of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 kg Fromage Blanc
- 1 pack (40-60 g) of vanilla pudding
Polish cheese cake (Polski Sernik) is a curd cake with fromage blanc. A very soft, smooth and homogeneous texture will not leave your any chances of avoiding its re-baking!
Step by step recipe description:
What is Fromage Blanc? Fromage Blanc is French curd, in consistence is more like something in between the crushed cottage cheese and natural yoghurt. In Poland, it is sold in buckets of 1 kg and is called Twaróg do sernika.
In a separate bowl, whip up the egg whites until the peaks and carefully mix them with the curd mass.
Cover the baking dish with baking paper (I used a large rectangular dish 23x30 cm) and pour out the mass.
