Alesia:
Polish cheese cake (Polski Sernik) is a curd cake with fromage blanc. A very soft, smooth and homogeneous texture will not leave your any chances of avoiding its re-baking!

Grind butter at room temperature with sugar.

Add 5 yolks and mix.

What is Fromage Blanc? Fromage Blanc is French curd, in consistence is more like something in between the crushed cottage cheese and natural yoghurt. In Poland, it is sold in buckets of 1 kg and is called Twaróg do sernika.

Add Fromage Blanc and dry pudding from the sachet to the bowl. Mix.

In a separate bowl, whip up the egg whites until the peaks and carefully mix them with the curd mass.

Cover the baking dish with baking paper (I used a large rectangular dish 23x30 cm) and pour out the mass.

Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes, until golden brown.
