Peel the rhubarb and cut into small pieces.

Whisk soft butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.

Then add eggs, mixing thoroughly after each to a smooth mass.

Add sifted flour, mixed with salt and baking powder. Whisk until smooth.

Cover a baking dish with a thin layer of butter, put the dough. Lay the rhubarb pieces on top and gently press into dough.

Bake the pie at 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4 for about 20-25 minutes. As soon as the top becomes golden - immediately remove the pie from the oven.
